Regular licensed athletes may be eligible for NWANA member benefits, including race registration discounts, rankings eligibility, education access, series communications, and other benefits as they become available.
Certain NWANA activities, rankings, sanctioned events, elite eligibility, instructor pathways, coach or judge roles, or international opportunities may require additional education, verification, Safe Sport training, anti-doping education, background screening, course completion, or other compliance requirements.
Mid-year purchases are automatically prorated based on the remaining portion of the membership year.

NWANA uses this platform as its licensing, credentialing, and affiliation registry for the development of Nordic Walking in North America.
The Nordic Walking Association of North America (NWANA) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity supporting the growth of Nordic Walking through education, athlete development, instructor development, coach and judge training, community programs, standards, rankings, sanctioned events, and responsible governance.
This registry is intended for athletes, instructors, coaches, judges, community leaders, volunteers, clubs, groups, organizations, and other approved participants in the NWANA sport development system.
Registration helps NWANA maintain accurate records, assign license numbers, support education and eligibility pathways, organize local and regional development, and prepare the foundation for sanctioned events, official results, rankings, and long-term growth.
License and membership fees support NWANA’s educational, charitable, and sport-development purposes. This license is not a charitable donation.
The NWANA Athlete License registers an athlete in the NWANA athlete system for Nordic Walking sport development, education, events, rankings, communications, and future sanctioned competition pathways.
The Annual Athlete License is for athletes who want to be part of the NWANA athlete registry and participate in the development of organized Nordic Walking in North America.
The Annual Athlete License - Regular is listed at $55 for a 1-year membership. Mid-year purchases may be automatically prorated based on the remaining portion of the membership year.
